Peter, I forwarded your blog to my sister Estelle. Here’s her reply. I sent her “Fat guy”. Bob, I can’t tell you how much I’ve enjoyed reading Peter’s work. I bought his book, Saints and Poets, Maybe. He is insightful and entertaining and has a conversational writing style. I feel a connection in so many ways—growing up in NJ, Fordham Univ., his heritage, his outlook on life, his sense of humor—and look forward to reading his other publications. I’d love to meet him. If you ever hear of somewhere he is going to be, please let me know. Lots of LovEstelle Looks like you have another fan! Always look forward to your blog. Bob.

    Dear Peter,

Happy Birthday, you have arrived at “A Big 75th” and hope that you had a great celebration.

You chose your birth date well, as today is the feast of St. Ignatius of Antioch who is recognized for his writings.

Please keep growing younger and keep writing those fairy tales!

    Best wishes,

    Diana Colombo

Piece in paper this AM about MN Archbishop very troubling. Too much mercy & not enuf justice with curia? Regards

Peter, late on Wednesday night my son Jeff sent me the notice in the Ridgefield Press about Jo Anne. You wrote a beautiful story of her life. To my regret, we lost touch during years of so much change, but it was a real pleasure to learn about her from your words. I remember how much she loved daffodils each spring. She told me her mother would give them to her for her birthday. I remember how much she enjoyed the trips from Ridgefield to the city so we could see the Broadway musicals. All the rehearsals for Lady Kay. And I remember the way she could tap a triple time step-no easy feat! (Not a pun, but she might have laughed).

I would love to know more about Jo Anne. I am happy to have known her, and she will be in my prayers.

    Sincerely,

    Peggy Kinkead

    Hi Peter,

Can you send me a softcopy of your Thanksgiving post? I’d like to forward it to my husband but can’t figure out how to do it other than via social media (which he does not do!). Hope you and your beautiful wife are doing well. I’m glad to hear she is a little better.

your column in today’s cc times was interesting, like Jon Rappaport’s matrix emails. At my age now of 86, I have pesonally experienced a medical doctor scam which is the largest criminal syndicate in the world and I can find no way to separate anybody from their cherished martix beliefs in doctors, Including—or foremost—my wife, a long retired hospital nurse from the good old days before Big Pharma lured them all into perdition. I’d love to share with you thisrelease from the matrix. art rosenzweig Yale 53 508 240-0523 orleans

    Peter,

If my understanding of the Julian calendar is correct, today the day to say Kristos Razdayetsya to you. I also write to congratulate you on a year of accomplishments – your website, your publications, and of course your new Samsung F8500 smart plasma television set with Evolution Port, Quad Core Processor and 600Hz Subfield Motion. I have no idea what an Evolution Port is, except perhaps Bahía Blanca. But you’re the first of my friends to have one. As Bernie Lipsy would say, Mazel Tov.

Your recent blog about Sloan-Kettering was particularly meaningful to me. I spent much time there with Kathleen, and then in 2001 as a patient myself.

A few months ago you suggested I investigate Facebook. I thought about it for a while, then I lay down in a dark room with a cold compress on my forehead. I’m not yet ready to make the leap.

Consequently I don’t expect an answer to this antediluvian form of communications. But know that you and Jo Anne are in my thoughts and my prayers.

    Michael
